Morning Breaks at the
Pier On a trip to St. Augustine
Florida, I visited the beach early one morning. The
clouds appear to be parting to allow the sun to rise.

Landscape
Tapestry Anytime you are in an
airplane, the earth looks just a little different.
This image was taken while on a flight that passed over the
Great Salt Lake in Utah. These are the colors that
appeared that day, I haven't changed them.

Wooden Abstract
Close ups often produce
interesting photos. Less is sometimes more, as in this
case. This is a fallen tree in Vista Park just
north of Tarpon Springs Florida. Situated along the Gulf
of Mexico and Sand Bay, this park's landscape looks like it
could be in California.

Earth's
Arteries This was created on the
same flight as the one I took "Landscape
Tapestry." The camera was working overtime as the plane
passed over Great Salt Lake. I was glad the plane's
windows were clean.

The Rapids -Hillsborough River State Park
Hillsborough River
State Park is located north of Tampa and south of Zephyrhills
Florida along St. Rt. 301. It is set along the
Hillsborough River and provides camping, hiking trails,
a concession stand and swimming pool. It also has the
"rapids," an spot on the river that passes over
rocks. By getting next to the river I was able to
capture the rapids from a slightly different angle.

Skyway Tampa
Florida The Bob Graham Skyway
Bridge connects Pinellas County on the north side of the
bridge to Manatee County on the south side. I took
this image from a charter boat coming back from the Gulf of
Mexico. Yes, this has been Photoshopped.

Mountain from the
Air Same flight as "Earth's
Arteries" and "Landscape Tapestry." This very
interesting mountain was just east of Great Salt
Lake. It appeared to have a crater at the top.

Airscape Again on the flight where "Mountain from the
Air",Earth's Arteries" and "Landscape Tapestry" were
created. This image is taken as the plane
approached Great Salt
Lake.

Cannon Beach from Ecola State Park The Oregon coast is an amazing place. I was
fascinated by the sea stacks. If you get to the Oregon
coast, a trip to Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park is
recommended. Ecola State Park provides a great
vista of the Pacific Ocean and Cannon
Beach
